This book has helped me do so many things in my most difficult moments, such as the ones I described previously! The first thing this book helped me do was prioritize, which is really challenging, and I couldn’t have done it without the help of the author, David Allen. However Allen is so good at what he does, he has even been recognized by Time magazine! My prioritizing began and I was able to figure things out. I then had to understand and learn that everything has a certain place and time, and not every place and time is appropriate to complete a task. This is not something you can just learn from me explaining this to you here. Purchasing Allen’s book about getting things done will assist you with making sure that you understand the appropriate time and place for accomplishing the important tasks that you need to complete.
What is most important about Allen’s book is that everything is described and explained and taught to be carried out in a relaxed way. Nothing seems stressful and overwhelming. While you will be getting things done, and I can promise you that if you read this book, you will also be able to do it in a less stressful way, and feel better about yourself while doing so. Allen has a way of not only helping you organize your life, but also helping to increase your self-esteem while you are accomplishing necessary life tasks.
